All of our cats are wormed, FeLV/FIV tested negative, have had all vaccinations, and are spayed/neutered*** and micro-chipped. All of our kitties are administered Drontal and Revolution the day they leave for their new homes just in case there might be an ear mite egg, flea, or any type of intestinal parasite. Each cat leaves with a 4# bag of Science Diet food.
***-Except in the case of very young kittens- Kittens adopted at a very young age must be spayed/neutered by the end of the 5th month at the pet owner's expense, and this can be done through us at a reduced cost. We do ask that a decision be made on declaw and both procedures done the same day.
These are just a few of the many wonderful animals we have available for placement in good homes. If you would like to open your home to any of these loving pets, please fill out and submit our adoption form and we will contact you shortly.
Please refrain from contacting us about pet adoptions via email or phone, as often an animal has already been placed into the home of someone who has already submitted the online adoption form and started the process. |

Aleece
I'm a young adult Domestic Short Hair Tortoise Shell. Although the people in the VERY nice neighborhood from
which I was rescued put out food and water for me, no
one bothered to take me in or get help for me. I had to
have one of my little eyes removed. But that didn't slow
me down one bit. I can still romp and play with the best

Anson
Anson and Eenie, DOB-6/15/05 are DMH sweethearts! Anson has a very expressive face, and is brother to "Eenie," who is a little bit cross-eyed and very funny. Both are quite handsome! These little ones were born to a stray mother cat and were brought to Whiskerville on the way to the pound. They were, of course, frightened at first--but they are now very sweet and friendly . Please consider opening your home to Anson and/or any of the other wonderful cats we have at Whiskerville.

I'm Boogity, a grey and white male DSH born 1/5/05. My luckiest day was when I was rescued in Galveston and taken to Whiskerville. I may be a little shy, but I still love to be loved on too. Go ahead, pet me. I'll say "when" when it's enough. I'm the strong, silent type. I don't meow much, but you'll know by the look in my eyes that I am happy to be home with you. |

Well hello there! I'm Buff, a buff and white DSH tabby boy born 4/7/06 to mommy Cammi. Is this a handsome face, or what? I am a very laid back and loving kitty. I love to play, but when you pick me up and snuggle me, I will purr like a lawnmower!

Buford
My name is Buford, I am 3 years old, and I found my way to Whiskerville
on my own. One day when the volunteers got there I was
sitting by the front door waiting for them. I had been
having a hard time of it, ear mites, other cats beating
me up, and no one had ever neutered me. At Whiskerville
they cured my ear mites and got me neutered . I get plenty
to eat and there are a lot of friendly cats here for me
to play with. In the picture you can see me hanging out
on the Scratching Tower with Zip and Tiger. They are great
guys but we would all really like to have our own homes
and families. |

Cammi
Cammi is a beautiful short haired Cameo. She and her litter were found in a ditch in Santa Fe, left to fend for themselves. Cammi is a lovable doll, who melts right into your shoulder when she is picked up. She has a beautiful coat with soft coloring, and a laid-back temperament.

Dixie and Daphne
Dixie and Daphne are two domestic medium-haired shaded cameos who were found starving in a lady's backyard, poor bony little things. After weeks of tender loving care, they are doing wonderfully and have turned into beautiful little girls! Their birthdates are 3-1-06. They are easy going and very loving, and would really like to stay together. They make a lovely matching set! You can tell them apart by their noses. Daphne has the grey nose and Dixie's is tan. |

Donovan
Donovan is a gorgeous snow white domestic medium hair cat born 10/29/05. He is very sweet and laid-back. You won't know he's around until he sneaks up on you and nudges you with his head, looking for hugs and snuggles. |

Eenie

Erin is a beautiful 3 year old medium long hair silver and black
cat. The tips of her fur look like litte feathers.You
have to see this girl to appreciate her beauty . She is
a quiet and regal cat, loves to be petted and loved. She
gets along wtih other cats great, but would happy to be
the only cat in a loving home of her own. |

Ferdinand
Ferdinand was abandoned in a picnic basket at a park with
his beautiful mom, Portia, and his three litter mates. One of his sisters has gone
to live with her new family in Austin and they tell us
she is the sweetest and best cat they have ever seen.

I am kitty! Hear me ROAR! I may be little, but I've got SPUNK! My foster mommy says I think I am a little mountain lion. I don't let those grown-up kitties run me around! I run THEM around! I was found with my siblings in a Mercedes that was in a classic car shop being restored. Maybe that's where I get my gumption! There's a big engine in this little body! Pamela, Priscilla, and Penelope Penelope, Pamela, and Priscilla are 3 sweet babies born 3/15/06, and callously abandoned behind our facility. The poor dears laid there helpless in their own feces for 8 hours, before being found. Penelope is a lovely female domestic medium hair orange and white tabby.
