There are many businesses in our community that understand
we all must work together in the fight to end the needless
suffering of animals.
These businesses assist us with donations and financial support
for animals we rescue from them. There are good, caring people
who run these businesses. We don't know about you, but we
certainly prefer to spend our hard-earned money at establishments
like these as opposed to those listed on our Bad
Business page who contribute to the problem.
To these businesses we say "thank you" from the
bottoms of our hearts and on behalf the grateful animals they
have assisted us with rescuing.

Linda & A.J. Alexander are major supporters of our efforts! Long before Whiskerville was a reality, we bought all of our appliances from them. We have never had the first problem and will never go anywhere else. Their service is by far, the best and A.J. keeps up with his continuing education to service the new "high-tech" appliances. The Alexanders never forget you after the sale.
The many people who are buying from the large chains are finding out that not only does the chain forget them very quickly, but if they would have taken the price offered at that store to Alexander Maytag, they would at least come real close to matching it. To us, the service after the sale is WAY more important than a few dollars.

Wrecker's Grill

After only seven months in business, the owner's of Wrecker's
Grill & Bar, Whitey Forrester, Mike & Peggy Armstrong,
and Ronnie Cole asked their manager, Jennifer Craig to
seek out help for the area stray cats around their restaurant.
Jennifer chose us . . . not for help to get rid of the
"problem", but due to TRUE compassion for these
animals.
The whole Wrecker's "crew" pitched in and helped
gather newborn babies as well as trap the more feral cats.
At Wrecker's expense, all kitties have been tested for
Feline Leukemia & Feline AIDS, spayed/neutered, etc.
One is unfortunately AIDS positive. We have fallen in
love with Blackie (aka Salem) and hope to keep him with
three other AIDS kitties we care for. Of course, all AIDS
kitties are segregated from our healthy babies. Here are
a couple of the babies they
helped rescue that are ready to go to their new forever
homes!
Wrecker's continues to take care of the ones returned
to their site and are presently coming to the aid of the
neighborhood strays that SHOULD be in citizens' homes.
What a wonderful thing Wrecker's Grill & Bar has done
(and continues to do). If everyone would do one tiny thing,
we could make such a major difference in these animals'
pitiful lives! Just think, Wrecker's has not only taken
care of ALL health needs of these creatures, but has DRASTICALLY
helped ease the over population and suffering of every
last one of these cats, as well as stopped the spread
of a deadly disease (Feline AIDS).
Our hats off to Wrecker's Grill & Bar! May others
sit up, take notice, and follow suit!
By the way, their food is AWESOME!
