Freckle is a resident of The Mermaid & The
Dolphin, A Vinage Inn & Tropical Resort on Galveston Island.
While the owners were out of town in September, the caretaker
noticed that Freckle was missing toward the end of the month.
Freckle is a big girl and visitors often think she is pregnant!
But Freckle is spayed, as all female cats should be.
Freckle had been very badly abused prior to arriving at the
gardens. She had been kicked and had the largest tear in her
diaphragm that their vet had ever seen. The Laney's took her
in and nursed her back to health, and she is a very loved
member of their family.
