Help! I found a baby ____________!!! What do I do?
It's springtime! Flowers are blooming and our local wildlife is expanding it's family. This is the time of year when many people will find a baby animal they think has been abandoned, or find an injured animal, and their instincts are to help it. But what starts as a good thought can end up hurting rather than helping.
The best thing you can do to help a baby or injured animal is to immediately get in touch with a local wildlife rehabber. Here is a list of the permitted and sub-permitted rehabbers in our area:
