Highway wasn't actually rescued by Whiskerville, but his story is so great it is worth sharing! If only there were more people like Lexi and her family!

My Name is Lexi. Five months ago I was riding home with my Grammy when we saw what looked like a little puppy on the side of the road. I went out of the car to see if it really was a puppy. When I stepped out of the car the puppy tried to run to me but it kept falling. We took him home and tried to feed him but he was to sick and was unable to keep anything including water down. So we took him to a vet hoping to get him well and then find him a good home. He has a very good home with us now and we feel very lucky we found him. When we took him to be neutered we met one of your volunteers who suggested we send you Highway's picture and his story. Here are two pictures of him, one when we found him and today with our other dog Belle.
