McKinley
|
Just one of many success stories that makes the
heartache we see each day worth going on.
McKinley was found at three days old in the woods bordering
Mr. & Mrs. Leisey's home in Dickinson on March 20, 2002.
She was extremely dehydrated, but hanging in there. Barbara
House got the Leisey's lined out on how to care for such a tiny
baby. They were remodeling their home, so Whiskerville took
the task on. McKinley quickly developed a bad upper respiratory
infection, but after much ado for about six weeks, pulled out
of it, has been adopted, and lives happily ever after.
These pictures were taken at eight weeks and she is now 12 1/2
weeks old. No, that spot on her face is not dirt but her actual
coloring. She is absolutely beautiful! |
