In Memory of Willow Fahey
October 12, 2004
This was sent by Ariann Fahey and family who adopted Tegan
from us (a fawn Boxer we rescued from deplorable conditions.
They live in Katy and foster for Lone Star Boxer Rescue.
"I'm sorry to give everyone bad news early in the morning,
but I figured I would get it over with. We had to put Willow
down last night.
She had a tumor in her lung that was the size of her heart.
It was so large that it was pushing against her esophagus,
causing her to cough. Willow tried very hard to survive, but
unfortunately the disease won.
I'm happy to say that every day she was in the care of LSBR
or my family, she was pampered and spoiled rotten. She was
able to sleep in a nice comfortable bed and had her own place
right next to my desk.
We were sorry to see her go, but it was the best for Willow.
This is all the more reason we should keep doing what we are
doing. Whatever your cause is, do it with diligence, no matter
what the pay off is."

whole." Roger Carras
