Whiskerville desperately needs volunteers and fosters! They are the heart of our program! How do you know if you would you qualify?
Do you enjoy playing with and caring for cats, dogs, and the occasional prairie dog?
Does your voice uncontrollably change to baby talk when you see a puppy or kitten?
Do you have a little room in your schedule and a lot of love to give?
Do you have special skills such as grant writing?
If the answers to the above questions are "YES!" then you may be just perfect for volunteering at Whiskerville!
We also have a constant need for foster homes for our dogs and cats, and it is particularly urgent right now!. The more foster homes we have, the more animals we can save, and so many are in need this spring! If you have room in your home and your heart, put it to use! If you become a foster parent, you will:
 Provide a temporary home for a rescued dog or cat until we find him/her a permanent home.
Basically treat the foster pet like your own - love, nurture, exercise, socialize, and prepare him or her for a permanent family.
Assist in profiling your foster pet to help match him/her with the ideal permanent home.
Whiskerville will:
Find your foster pet a permanent home. This is our number one priority!
Provide the pet with necessary medical care including spay or neuter.
Provide necessary supplies and food.
We desperately need fosters/volunteers! Please give back
to your community - we cannot do this alone.
